I flew into Billings for maybe 2 hours total. We received recommendations from the airport and this was the clear winner. There's a parking lot adjacent, but with coin operated meters. I'm not sure when they're active. The atmosphere is very quirky diner scene. It's fun and the employees are friendly. The food is unmatched. I never expected food this good. I had the outlaw burger, special for garlic, garlic sauce, and grilled chilies. It was juicy and delicious! One thing to be aware of, if they say garlic, they mean enough for a garlic lover like me. You've been warned. The airport staff recommended the San Francisco style garlic fries with fresh grated Parmesan. I'll second the recommendation. Don't miss these! We were flying so no beer, but I wanted to try one. Maybe next time. Servers were attentive, kind, and sweet, but not organized. We were in a hurry, so if you're not, you'll never notice.
We got the award winning Huckleberry burger, a cheeseburger, and a Smores milkshake to share with tableside toasted marshmallows. We came for a late lunch and received great service with great food.
The "I'm on a date with Jim and Coke" can take me home and get lucky. Every bite is a creamy hodge podge of flavor in your mouth. The burger is juicy, the bread lightly toasted and the fries are plentiful. I took my daughter to acknowledge her making the Dean's list. We were chatty before the food got there, I lookup 3 minutes after the food arrived and her burger was mostly gone. Not one word spoken between us, too busy making love to my date. It took a bit to get our order out. They say the right one is worth waiting for and they were right.
Fabulous burger joint with a cute decades vibe (50s dinner, 90s blockbuster and other cool memorabilia all over. Burgers and fries were the best we've had in a long time.
In Billings for business, looking for a good dinner that is fast and good. Well the reviews are not wrong. The burger was top tier, the fresh cut fries were very good. The staff was great, I went in shortly before closing they were doing their end of day work but very engaging and friendly. The esthetic of the restaurant is perfect, it reminds you of every great local burger shop, the awards on the wall shows the clout they have in the burger game. The variety is impressive! If your a burger nut they are a must try.
This place is a vibe and being a Miami girl, the joy it gave me to see that they won Sobe WFF burger bash which I have attended almost every year… solidified my decision to go! Solid burgers. I’ll have to try to Jucy Lucy next time. My fave MN food staple!
If you are into burgers, this is the place in Billings, MT. Funny, our other favorite burger place (Badass Burger) was in Malta...another MT in the EU. At any rate, very chic and great burgers. If you are into seafood, this won't be your choice...
My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary, everyone was so nice and kind. The burgers were delicious and we had an amazing time! 10/10 would recommend for a date, hanging out with friends or even just a moment with yourself. Loved the "best of the bash" burger!!
Absolutely stellar burgers. I took my special lady to a lunch date and this didn't disappoint. My black and blue burgers had whole peices of grilled garlic cloves. Yummy. She got bacon and mushroom and said it was juicy and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back, and the oatmeal creme pie shake was worth the calories.
We had 2 amazing burgers (see pic of the burger menu). We added onion rings and garlic fries. So delicious. Service was great. Family and long time employees run the place. I've been here 3 times and 100% recommend The Burger Dive. PS: When we walked in - it was busy (six tables of 2 to 5 people had just ordered or were waiting to order). I thought it would take 30+ minutes to get our food, but it was brought out in under 20.
